Formation Group
Our junior teams are for boys and girls between 12-16 years old. Once again we have over the years won every title possible and are regular finalist with our B & C teams which just shows the depth of school and the talent we have been fortunate to teach over the years.
If you would like to enquire about our formation teams and how to be part of something special then please don’t hesitate to get in touch. Although we can boast about many titles this is certainly not the core of us, its just the cherry on the cake! Our teams range from first timers to team GB members being part of our elite teams!
This concept is designed and catered for everyone. Unique routines, experienced teachers, systems and committees are put into place to help you along the way! We have almost 200 children in our formation teams who experience and cherish these memories we gain throughout the year as we train together, learn many new skills and gain friendships for life together as we travel the country making dreams and memories come true!

How do I find out when auditions are for teams?
We will advertise when auditions are via posters, Facebook, Instagram and Dance Crazy Website.
Does my son/daughter need experience in dance before joining teams?
We would like children to have some experience in dancing and would encourage children to attend our social classes to gain valuable experience before auditioning but it is not essential. Contact admin via email for up to date social class information.
How much will it cost for my son/daughter to join teams?
Team payments are paid every 4 weeks via standing order. Team payments include one social class visit per week. Contact admin via email for up to date team costs.
What will my son/daughter need to wear for auditions?
Your son/daughter will need to wear dance shoes, leggings, joggers, t-shirt, leotard or social dress if already in social class.
When will I know which team my daughter is in?
Parents are informed by text message usually within 2 weeks of auditions.
Will I need to sign an agreement?
An agreement will need to be signed by all parent/carers as a sign of commitment to being in a team. There is 1 month's grace should you decide team is not suitable for your child.
What will my son/daughter need to wear in team?
Children will need to wear a social dress, girls or boys practice wear. These can be ordered/purchased from our merchandise store in our Llantwit Fardre studios.
When will my son/daughter need to train for team?
Exact days and times are given out once teams are chosen. They can train up to twice a week in the evenings and sometimes on Saturday mornings. Leading up to competitions you will need to commit to extra team practices. These are part of your contract.
Where will team practices take place?
Team practices are in our Llantwit Fardre Studios, Unit 10A, Newtown Industrial Estate, Llantwit Fardre CF38 2EE.
When will the team competitions begin?
Stoke competitions are usually held in March and May, Blackpool competition usually in April for Juvenile and Juniors and November for adults and the Welsh is usually in May.
